DAY 35: Living Fully with a Chronic Condition

Share

Scripture

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live… I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”— Galatians 2:20 KJV

I used to think I had to wait.

Wait until I felt stronger…
Wait until my health was perfect…
Wait until life was easier…

Before I could truly live.

But that “perfect time” never came.

So I made a decision:

I would live anyway.

Not recklessly—
But intentionally.

And so, life happened.

I got married—when God brought the right man.
I became a mother—not just biologically, but to many God placed in my path.
I served in church—loving and teaching children.
I went on medical missions—bringing healing and hope.
I kept learning—taking courses, going back to school, growing.
I served as a nurse—wherever the opportunity arose.
I sat on boards—helping shape impact beyond myself.

Was it always easy? No.

Was my body always cooperative? Definitely not.

But my life was never on hold.

Because Christ was living through me.

And that made all the difference.

Praise Declaration

Today I praise God because my life is not on hold.
