Day 7: The Gift of My Beginning

Share

Theme: Praise for My Parents

Scripture

“The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him.” — Proverbs 20:7

Reflection

Before there was Paul…

Before there was ministry… There were my parents.

Two missionary nurses.

Two compassionate servants.

Two people who did not panic when diagnosis came — they responded with love.

They carried me through hospital admissions.

They educated me.

They believed in me.

They gave me wings when fear could have clipped them.

Their medical knowledge preserved me.

Their faith covered me.

Their love strengthened me.

Eventually, they placed my hand into Paul’s — trusting that the care would continue.

And it did.

But it began with them.

Praise Declaration

Lord, thank You for the gift of godly parents who nurtured purpose before I understood it.
